Norman Schlemmer

Norman grew up in Huntsville Alabama where his father worked as an engineer for NASA for more than thirty years. Life was filled with sports, scouting, camping, and hiking. He attended Auburn University, graduating with honors and meeting the love of his life. His first job was with Collateral Investment Company in Birmingham Alabama where he entered the mortgage business and within five years was managing the number one office for the largest privately owned mortgage company in the southeast. Upon leaving the mortgage industry Norman worked as the broker/sales manager for Jefferson Home Construction Company, a local home builder in Birmingham specializing in single family homes and townhomes. After five years he relocated to Montgomery Alabama to become the broker for Alfa Realty. After a lengthy career with Alfa, he joined ARC Realty as the managing partner for the ARC Realty Co South office.

Norman has served as President of the Montgomery Area Association of Realtors and Realtor of the Year on the Governance Board at Vaughn Forest Church.

Norman has been actively involved in Campus Crusade, Institute in Basic Youth Conflicts, Vaughn Forest Church, Children’s Center Adult Program, youth and high school sports.

He is married to Rhonda and they have eleven children and thirteen grandchildren.
